Whether you are pregnant, preparing for the arrival of your baby, or parenting young children, we have resources to help you! All services and support are free.
You may begin earning resources by participating in our Material Assistance Program. As a pregnant mom, or a mom or dad with a child up to 36 months. You may take a series of instructional classes on pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, life skills, fatherhood, and so much more.
Boutique
After completing class, you will receive “Baby Bucks” to shop in our boutique for items you need. You can save your Bucks to receive larger items, such as a crib or car seat. This educational opportunity will give you invaluable tools for you and your family.

- Family Connects: Texas’s newborn home visiting program. Family Connect nurses are trained to answer your questions and connect you with the support you need.
- WIC Texas: WIC gives you the services, support, and inspiration you need to eat right, have a healthy pregnancy, breastfeed successfully, and raise amazing kids.
- Bastrop County Food Pantry: At the heart of the BCFP and Support Center is a strongly held commitment to alleviate hunger with emergency food, to address the underlying factors that create food insecurity and to provide a helping hand to individuals and families struggling toward self-sufficiency.
- Community Health Centers: Comprehensive, Preventive and Primary Health Care. Sliding scale payments for patients without insurance.
- Rachel’s Vineyard: This program is an opportunity to examine your abortion experience, identify the ways that the loss has impacted you in the past and present, and helps to acknowledge any unresolved feelings that many individuals struggle with after abortion.
- Primera Baptist Church Food and Clothing Pantry: Open 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. They are located at 301 Paul Bell Street, Bastrop, Texas
- Cen-Tex Family Services: Cen-Tex provides Head Start and Early Head Start services to Bastrop, Fayette, Lee, and Colorado counties. Their mission is to provide learning experiences in a safe healthy environment.
- Parents As Teachers: Parents As Teachers offers practical help to families from the time they learn of a pregnancy until their child’s first day of Kindergarten. PAT is free of charge. Located at 275 Jackson Street, in Bastrop.
